Today I wanted to talk about some of my favorite things in 2017 so far, with a video to go along with it!
The last two posts I’ve done have been recipes, which wasn’t really supposed to be the case, but I just got done with dance competition season! I don’t want to make a whole other post just for the sake of it, and I had done this post already, so I thought why not? Two recipes in a row. I thought that I would talk about a pasta sauce that I like to make out of a simple can of tomato sauce.
I just discovered horchata last summer when I was playing the game Cooking Dash on my iPad. Lame, I know. But I tried making it over the summer and I loved it! I have made it in all sorts of ways, but I think the way that I have made it most recently is the easiest, and very delicious!
My counselor reminded me that eating breakfast was important, but she also specifically told me what kind of breakfast I should be having in the morning: one containing protein. Of course, there are many foods that have protein in them, but one ingredient more associated with breakfast that is rich with protein is egg. I thought for this post I would give simple, pretty obvious egg recipes that you can make in the morning for breakfast, or at any time. Who knows? It might boost your energy!
